Helicopter Helmet.com put together some of the basic survival gear that could help you to be found by rescue agencies, and to be able to survive for a short duration with basic tools and gear. All that we offer is geared towards the aircrew, and we do not intend to compete with other survival companies.
Survival gear can vary depending on what part of the world you operate in and the climate, season, etc. your flying in. Build your survival kit based on those needs, and by all means shop around. Remember, Survival gear is cheap, but when you need it, it's priceless!
